What are the advantages?

I was looking into getting a high performance 2-bbl holley to boost HP and get atleast reasonable gas mileage (I am in high school)

What are the advantages?

Save your money. The stock 2bbl is enough for a stock 390. You will feel no difference over a fresh autolite 2bbl.

You'll not pick up any fuel economy with a HOLLEY.

I'f you look your autolite has annular boosters, try and afford a holley with that
