I'll go the dark side If you have a motor that looks like a sludge pit on inside . You maynot want to use . If knock to muchstuff loose could plug other things .
Now The good side . I'd do it any way as it will help with flow ETC . And if that dirty it may only last a week any way (Or 10 years )
I have used it and I think it works very well for freeing rings when ran through the break booster vacuum hose.
As far as the injectors I still pull the Fuel pump relay and run the engine on just 3M Fuel Injection cleaner for 15-30 minutes. Maintain about 35 PSI from the Fuel Injector Cleaner can while running the engine. I do not believe in putting anything in the fuel tank but cleaning the injectors with the 3M way makes a lot of difference in the engines performance.
Bill, where are you putting in the injector cleaner if you're not dumping it in the tank. And does that cleaner really have enough petrol to run the engine by itself for 15-30 minutes? Sounds pretty rough.

Yes it will run it that long at idle.
As quicklook2 said I hook it to the fuel rail through a regulator on the kit.
I have two types, one kit from NAPA uses the 3M pressurized can.
I also have another one that that hooks to the air line and you pore the liquid cleaner into it before putting the air pressure to it, it also hooks to the fuel rail.
Yes sir. The line that attaches to the rubber fitting at about 10 o'clock on the break booster. Remove the hose clamp and remove the hose to pour in the Seafoam.
