fuse box
is it hard to change the whole fuse box under the dash on a 1987 ford f-150? mine has a blown air cond, fuse and signal light fuse. i wired then together with a 30 amp fuse and they work ok, but i want to change the whole unit, is it hard ? or how should i do it, ty. bill

I think in my case, a deep cleaning with electrical circuit cleaner and some custom tools to restore the fuse contacts and knock down the dirt and corrosion would be as much as I could hope for - that’d be a fun afternoon little project.

replacing the box isn't hard. if you can find a good one at a local junkyard thatll be really cheap as well. If its burned and melted yeah i would say you need a new one but why not sending in a pic so we can see whats going on
