Is the flexplate on the 351 that was attached to a C6 the same the one I'd need if putting that motor in front of an E4OD? (specifically, going from a '94 F350 w/C6 to a '92 F250 w/E4OD)
Thanks!
why are u going to a e40d i had one in my 90f250 and it bit the big one now i have a f150 with the c6 tranns and i think it that best trans for working and beating on
Oh, because:
a) F350 has been washed with a sledgehammer and dried with a pick 100 times too often
b) my F250 has zero rust and is missing only a motor, but has an E4OD
c) the C6 in the F350 has a crack in the case where the bolt that holds the vacuum modulator in place and JB Weld just doesn't cut it so it leaks
d) the F350 has an excellent 351 to drop into the F250
e) I sold all my Grand Nationals and Turbo Regals, I need another "project" (that it is 2wd doesn't really matter as I have 2 other 4wd vehicles and a 40hp International tractor if I can't get out of my field)
f) ...because I can and want to!
