ok i am realy cofused got my trany back e4od 1992 f 350 4x4 the new tourqeconverter has 6 studs the old one had 4 the salesman said all diesels have six that i have wrong flex plate. Found a salvage yard 3 hrs away that had 1992 f 350 diesel they pulledit for me when i got there it had 4 holes like the one i have does any one know what is wright

The beetle brained pinheaded salesman is full of scheiss! He gave you the wrong converter.
The 1990/2001 Ford Truck Parts Catalog sez: 6 converter studs: 1995/96 F250/350, F(Super Duty) & E350 only!
Go back and get the correct converter, and tell the idiot to ask any Ford Dealer's part dept what is correct...and what ain't!
ok there are two different numbers one on a sticker one on the flex plate... this one is on the flex plate ..F4TP6375AA & this is the sticker on the flex plate.. 1F1821419C1

You have the correct flywheel (flexplate), but...the wrong converter.
