Ford part numbers are not marked on any parts after 1956.

Some parts have ID engineering numbers marked on them, but ID engineering numbers are different than the actual part numbers.

OP: If the flywheel (flexplate) has an ID number marked on it, post what it is. I can prolly cross reference it to the actual Ford part number.

Not an expert so may be talking garbage but I would suspect that you have a torque converter for a Power Stroke.

That's CACA del TORO!

The beetle brained pinheaded salesman is full of scheiss! He gave you the wrong converter.

The 1990/2001 Ford Truck Parts Catalog sez: 6 converter studs: 1995/96 F250/350, F(Super Duty) & E350 only!

Go back and get the correct converter, and tell the idiot to ask any Ford Dealer's part dept what is correct...and what ain't!

See what I just typed in post #9.

You have the correct flywheel (flexplate), but...the wrong converter.
