hmmmmmmmm, 05 bumper you say, PMS is strong one here, LOL
i think you just hearing things, LOL, i hope this is only your hearing, not the actual problem,
It will take me a long time to install it, i have to try to find a place to chrome it. That is actually harder than it sounds lol. Waiting for the truck to cool down so i can check the play, shes hot, after playing with a 6L on the freeway. I got owned. I was driving back with the bumper, and i see a nice 05+harley 6L just tootin along, im not in a racing mode, so im just going 78mph, and i see cars starting to back up behind me, so i speed up to get in front of the 6L to let the cars go, i guess he wanted to race, cuz the second i went into it, he did too, so i just held it to the floor in 80econ, and at about 90mph he took me, thinking maybe it was a stock truck(no way in hell), i just kept in it, buried the speedo, and he was gone! I say oh well, hes got more power than me. Days go by,.
You will definitely want to check that intake wheel soon. My uncle popped his turbo just last week. Called me up to tell me he had an extra high pitched sound he didn't recognize......turns out the intake wheel was all up in the housing and was basically cutting it's own ported shroud.
Check the turbo for shaft-play and there is none(hard to belive with this turbo having 250K on it). So, ive been driving 250miles since saturday night, and if the turbo wasnt getting oil, it would be shot by now. So the gutting went fine, i think its just that now that there is no donuts leaks, im actually hearing what everyone else is hearing with the 6637 filter. I feel like a newb again, since when i installed it i heard a little bit of whoosh when i let up, now i hear a ton of it.
