in line 6 carb problem
Trying to pass emmisions, can't find carberator that fits, intake manifold single barrel, two mounting holes, one unknown hole on manifold, what is the third hole for?? In line 6 was not orginal engine!, how do I get the year of the engine on the block!! Please Help!!

Not 100% clear on your description of the hole's; but the engine block date is located above & slightly forward of the starter. The first two digits if I recall will read the year build. i.e. D4 ='s 1974 model etc.
