Spare Tires

Does anyone know if those space saver spare tires
were ever made with a 5 on 5 1/2 rim? Any info greatly
appreciated. Thanks

I just went through my Hollander Wheel, 56th edition, dated 1990. Found nothing. A lot of 4 1/2s on Fords and Chryslers, a lot of 4 3/4s on GM, and metrics everywhere. Nothing 5 1/2 through that date.

Spare tire

Cut the center out of a old large rim and weld into a small spare rim. It's only for a spare. A plasma cutting would be close enough. Back in the 50's we made off-set reverse rims for every day use, they worked well. Have a great day,chuck
