Well I've listened to all the sound clips posted here and am concluding that mine does not sound all that bad. Might as well keep it for not. Wait for the muffler to rot off before changing out. Then maybe get a thrush performance muffler for 439 at Murrays and see what happens.

But if anyone has listened to the sound clip I posted, let me know what you think. Probably should make a new sound clip hanging the vid out the door under the truck for better sound.

 

im considering getting an Imco performance muffler through someone i know for a good price. i have to change mine soon because its forming a hole, its already the size of quarter along the seam and it is lifting. I might also get a Cherry bomb performance muffler as well. You should get some better clips tho.

 

Here is a better clip I just did. I hung the camera out below the rocker panel and reved it a few times. About 7 seconds long. Don't know much about this video stuff, but sound alone would be a lot easier to upload. Anyway, this sounds much better. Still get some background noise.
