engine rebuild

i am having to sleeve my 7.3 due to cavitation. other tahn teraing it down and machining the block how far would u suggest going with the rest of the motor. can it just be put back together with all the parts, replace the main bearings? just trying to get by, have already had teh motor out thinking it was just a head gasket but the worst had to be. beside the gasket set just wondering what the Most important things i need to replace or do. thank you

When ever a person gets into this it is a very good idea to line hone the cam and crank bores..

How many miles are on the engine?

If you have it out and it has a lot of miles, you may want to check everything out rather well.

You don't want to have the engine back out in two months because something else let loose.
