Edge beats SCT?

I just made a 700 mile trip in my 04. I have a hypertech 3 stage programmer on it. I ran the 50 hp stage & got almost 21 mpg. I was very happy with the mileage. The truck came with the tuner. I'd thought about changing to a SCT but I doubt I will after this trip. I have a SCT thats tuned for my old F150. I could have tuned for my truck but I think I'll have it redone for my Grand Marquis.

you cant compare an SCT for a gasser with one for a diesel.
i have heard of a number of superduty guys getting in the 20mpg range too, but alas, i will never be one of them. i was a consistent 10-11mpg truck until i got ASE/Ultracomp files from Matt at SPARTAN. now i'm around 14-16, but i have a lift and big tires, so i can't expect the same as others.

I just took a trip to/from Wellsboro last weekend, got 12.2 mpg- hand calculated- with 2 kids 4-wheelers in the bed and pulling my Rincon 650 on the trailer with 4 people and all our gear. I was OK with that since it's a lot of up and down mountains (and no tuner). The only thing that passed me was an '08 CC PSD towing an empty trailer outside Minersville.
