Found a great Ford shop

I posted this in the 2017 Super Duty forum by mistake. If somebody can put it int he correct forum, go for it!!

I had an exhaust leak and also a problem with air intake. I took it to two local shops that they had no idea at first. One guy said it would be about $800.00 he thought. Also was told the air intake part was dry rotted.

I was told by a friend by this other shop, Hurricane Off Road and he raved about them. I was out in the area and went looking for the shop. Saw a parking lot full of Fords and went in and told the guy my concerns. He says hang on, he will take a look. In 3 minutes, he finds out there is a bracket broken on the exhaust pipes and the gasket around the air intake was dry rotted. He tells me he can fix it in about an hour once it cools off, he can fix it. I said how much? He says $50.00 bucks. He said to call him later in the afternoon and when it had cooled off, he could fix it.

I called later to see if it was ready and he said it was a little more involved and he needed to keep it over night and let the bottom half of the motor to cool off and he would have to re-seat where a guy fixed a cracked Y-pipe. He told me to come this morning before 10:00 and it would be ready.

I show up at 9:30 and it is already ready. He fixed what he could and has ordered the part for the air intake system, but the exhaust problem is fixed.

He charged me a total of $75.00. HOLY CRAP!! It has NEVER run this good.

The shop is Hurricane Off Road in Mobile, AL 251-281-4688. My truck is a 2007 F-350 with 120,000 miles on it.

Have you seen any 2017 Superdutys out there. I believe it would have been under warranty.

Thanks to op for informing everyone of an honest shop.
