Swap Meet ?
Hi all.Just a thought about a swap meet on this forum. We could put up what we have to trade.This would help out ones needing parts and would not have to deal with ebay.Any thing in the rules that say we can't ? Just was wondering what everyone thinks about this idea.

I think the classifieds already serve this need. I have seen ad placed in the classifieds that have a bidding action. I haven't researched it myself. The problem is that not many people visit the classifieds on a regular basis. I myself might look through them once a month or so.

I was thinking of just a trade parts for parts thing.No money would trade hands.This way someone on this forum might get some parts they need without paying anything but parts they may want to get rid of.I'll check with the mod.

I think it would be a great idea. I tried posting a few things I had for trade and what I needed but I got no response.
Theres been a few threads on the classifieds on this forum and its alot easier to sell on other boards and thats a shame.

Forums aren`t premitted to have this type of a thread, only the local chapters.
Possibly if enough want it may just happen for us.

It`s being discussed, it may go ahead if there is enough interest.
The problem is the distances involved between us, it`s too hard and expensive to ship a hood or fender any great distance. It may still help afew of us though.
