Dash to the Dells

Just curious if anyone here is going to the Dash to the Dells show September 14-15, 2007. It's a great show, very family oriented run by a great group of very friendly guys, and gals, of the Badgerland F-100s truck club. The show features Ford trucks and also the Unofficial Panel Nationals .

I know Stu, truckdog, is planning to be there. I am hoping to persuade Craig, Dmptrkr, to ride along with me. I would like to meet up with any other board member that can make it. Havi, I have your frame part and would really like to hand it off to in person. Anyone else going? I have tried to be there the last three or four years. Last year I almost didn't make it, I worked through the night on my panel truck and didn't get there until about 3:00 in the afternoon. I do plan to be there a lot earlier than that this year and I hope to have both the F-2 and panel there.

It's a real good time guys. They do a great tour of the Wisc countryside, more food than you can believe, and like Bob says, great folks. Stu

I used to make the trek up to the Dells from Chicago area every summer, also went to Baraboo /Wildcat River. Real nice area except for the local cops. Don't think we ever made it without at least one speeding ticket in some jerkwater town.

Any one else going? I just heard from Truckfarmer in another post.

I have been trying to get the panel roadworthy to make it. I have the mirrors mounted and today I got the head lights working. If nothing else I'll bring it on the trailer although it's not a trailer queen, maybe more like a trailer invalid.

I had never heard of this show. I cant do this year, as I work a 24 hr. shift on Sat. and its too hard to sw. a shift with short notice. Good chance I'll show up next year though!

I'm planning on attending. I'll be there with the wife and kids sometime Friday evening. I haven't had much progress to report on regarding my trucks. I joined the local volunteer fire department in February and have been really busy with training and whatnot. That should slow down some starting in October when my probationary period ends. If I don't see you at the show, I'll be hanging out with the family at the water parks and mini golf hot spots.

Hey Kevin - It'll be good to see you. Rusty and I will be there in his 57. Don't look for a white one though, it's black and silver now. Stu

I wish I could make it around the pond (Lake Michigan) to be there, I love that part of Wisconsin. Unfortunately I'm stuck in Indiana for work the next 3 weeks... plus my F-3 is far from road worthy. hopefully I can make it in the future

Jon,

It would be nice to see you there, even without the truck. Where in IN are you working?

OT: There's a decent F5 in Cambridge, MN on Ebay. Not too far from the Dells?
