Bob, glad to hear you are attending this year. The cruise will start Friday afternoon at 1pm. The route is secret but it has slipped out that we are visiting the apple orchard. You haven't lived until you see 50 vintage trucks being parked as the occupants are rushing inside to get to the fresh apple pies. This place sells more than 1000 pies every summer.
Don't worry if your truck is not done, the first year I went in my Taurus. I was worried they would think of me as a poser but it didn't matter as long as we shared the love of old trucks. For the price of registration, they will feed you (twice), you will get door prizes and a goodie bag, race valve covers and HotWheels, enjoy the show, drive the cruise, they have some trophies, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow truck lovers. I won't be there until Saturday morning. I have to work Friday and, hopefully, I can spend Friday afternoon finishing the wiring on the panel so I can drive it all the way. I would like to bring the F-2 also but I have to pull it out of storage and throw a battery in it. I wish I could make it for the cruise, it has to be an awesome site to see all those Fords cruising down the road.
OK, seriously, please remember to bring the gussets and your Hildy's. I've got a bottle packed, and will bring the wheel book. Anything I've forgotten? Thanks. Stu

I have your gussets in a box, I'll try to remember to burn the CDs later today(Thanks for reminding me) and I'll have Havi's frame part so he can pick it up if he comes.
yeah, I'm feeling a bit better from earlier this week. I'm expecting to be there Saturday.....Providing my car makes it. Or I might just insure the Jeep. Wish I could drive the old Ford.
Looks like I'll be there between 10:00 and 12:00 if all goes well. I'll be driving my black Saturn (only thing good on gas, lol). Bob, is there anywhere specific I can go at the show grounds to find ya? Stu, you gonna be by Bob? (yer truck would be hard to miss, lol)
Great show! A little smaller than past years but I think gas prices might have played on part in that.
Got to meet another fellow FTE member, Havi. It's always nice to put a face to the name, fortunately he doesn't look anything like his avitar
Took Dmptrkr with and it was good to meet up with Stu and Rusty and Truckfarmer and all the other members of the Badgerland F-100 club. Great show and food as usual.
Had a good time at the show. Perfect weather. Got there just in time for the boys to take part in the kids games. That's one of the things that sets this show apart from any other I've been to. Very family friendly. I caught up with truckfarmer as he was helping assemble the valve cover racing ramp. Never did find Stu or get a chance to talk to Nick. I'll be sure to host another FTE gathering this December. I need some motivation to clean up the shed and get some work done on the trucks. Didn't get to hang around long since we had family plans for the afternoon. Never made it back to the fireside chat like I hoped, either.
I took pictures of all the trucks. Here are a few members' trucks. I probably missed a couple so let me know and I'll get them up here, too.

I didn't realize you were there. Now that I looked back at the previous posts I saw you were coming. Sorry about that, I would have made an effort to meet you. Blame in Scott, Havi. As soon as I arrived I went over to the registration tent and then back to my truck. I was going to tape a bright fluorescent card on my hat with "FTE" written across it so Scott, and others, could recognize me but as I was walking back to my truck I was talking to my son about finding the "FTE guy" so I could give him the part I brought just as Scott walked by and heard us talking. After introducing each other I forgot about the name card.
I would have liked to meet you, I always take time to meet up with my internet truck buddies when I get a chance. I just might try to attend your get together sometime. It's quite a drive for me but it's a truck thing.
It was a nice show, hopefully next year a few more trucks will show up. The Badgerland F-100 families do a great job.
I thought that, too. I was there, but was thinking, "how is anyone going to know me?" I might have to get an FTE hat or t-shirt for next year.....in blaze orange, lol.
Great to see you guys again, and great to meet you Havi. Sorry I missed you Kevin. It was a wonderful show. The cruise was a fun too.
You'll all understand that, despite all your great show trucks, my star of the show was this 58 MH F-750. The fellow says it spent its working life as a concrete truck retrieval vehicle. Apparently concrete truck drivers have a tendancy to get too close to the hole they're delivering to and sometimes go in. This old soldier rescued them.
Kevin, thanks for posting the phpotos, especially that last one. Wonder if I can get enough blackmail to pay for some gas?
It was great to see you, Stu, and Bob again.I did not get to meet Havi but he didn't look like his avatar.
The club rented the local stock car short track on Friday afternoon. I have never seen so many 16 year old kids with old trucks as I did that afternoon. I think that is now the favorite place to cruise to now. We also went to the former favorite spot, an apple orchard that sells over 11,000 home-made apple pies per year.
