I had the Wabesto Put in by Top Coverage in Elgin. Paul runs the place. Tell him Ray with the Big Black Excursion sent you and maybe he'll give you a good deal. He did mine for $1300, but I do alot of business with him and that was Feb 2004. I can't gaurantee he'll give you the same price. I've had it since Feb 2004. I DID NOT lose any rear controls or maplights the way he did mine. I have the same front roof console with the same controls in them including the rear vent window controls. I believe he uses a STOCK expedition overhead console. He installed a Sunroof in my 1992 explorer, 6 years no leaks. He installed a Sunroof inmy 98 Expedition, 6 years no leaks. And he installed this one in Feb 2004. Love it wouldn't want to live without.....
My Ex is in Mt. Vernon this week at Audio Visionz to have a Webasto model installed. They were not sure how to do the map lights but I gave them some ideas so I hope it goes ok. Wish I had known about the installer in Elgin.

Do you have any pics of how they did the maplights, that would be great if you did. Also, I really like your 3rd row headrests, I believe you said there from an F-150, do you think Expedition headrests would fit in the 2nd and 3rd row. I wonder what other Ford headrests would fit, was hard to put the headrests in the 3rd row. I'd really like to see the moonroof though.
I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow. I believe they just took the back of the STOCK overhead console that came in the truck and cut off everything they did not need. Then glued on headliner material on the newly cut overhead console. So all of the controls and wires would still be there. They moved the roof vents into new locations so I didn't loose them either.
The headrests are not too hard. You take off the third row seat cover. It zippers at the bottom and has some velcro and hogrings in various spots. Take your time. Then I drilled two holes for each headrest right through the foam and through the round seat frame. I took a Grommet kit and put grommets in the seat cover and they stay in place but can be removed. I think the newer Expedition headrests would be a better choice. I have two that I want to put in the second row. The F150 headrests are a little too thick front to back and hang over the back of the third row a little. For me about 1/2". For you at least an inch. (I took two of those 1/2" thick rubber snap together workout / play mats from Sams and glued them to the back of the third row to make it a little thicker and to help with the thick headrest).

Do you still have maplights in the front though? The Expedition headrests, do they just go into the existing holes where the headrests are now or are you going to have to modify to make them fit?
