Highboy w/ stepside?
I bought this 75 Highboy last weekend, it has a LWB stepside bed on it. Would these trucks have came from the factory with one of these or would this be somebody's idea?

Yes 1975 F-250's also came with Flare side boxes.
Stepside is a GM term.
Highboy is not a Ford term.
It is simply an F-250 4x4 that had a higher ride height and a narrower frame than later F250's that had started being produced half way thru 1977.

I have only seen a few 8 foot FLARESIDEs over the years, I am partial to the ones with the spare tire mounted on the side, or were all the spares mounted on the side of the bed?
What year did this bed option end?
