Code P1221 - Replace ICP?
One of my fleet trucks- '95 F350 PSD Auto- thing runs like garbage and you have to rev it up in order to get it to idle. Idle sounds like all the injectors are randomly firing is the best way i could describe it. Then you touch the throttle and it revs up real quick, like i can't just rev it to 1200, it will go strait to 2000 or so. The funny thing is the check engine light will come on after a little bit of driving and then the thing runs great, like it should. The code i pulled was P1211- Injector control pressure above/below desired. I looked at the wiring and connector on the sensor, and everything looks ok. Can i test this? Or just replace the sensor for $170?! Thanks for any help!!!
