Pretty warm out west. early mornings work on the truck, a list of things to do.Install New front brake lines. Take a cruise to the Truck Shop in OC to spend some money. Hit a local cruise night on Saturday night and win the 50/50.
I may finally get my frame painted and put the rear end back together. I keep finding little mistakes, nothing major, but I will always know they are there. I am trying to get the truck back on the road for Cruising the Coast in Gulfport. I still have to plumb the rear brakes, rewire it, replace the intake manifold and carb. This weekend could make or break me.
Pull the Flatmotor from my donor chassis and finish checking it out.
Get rid of the last (Ha,Ha) load of scrap metal.
Get the donor chassis cleaned.
Get the Panel Body cleaned.
Move both chassis to rear storage.
Start loading trailer for next weekends car show.
My plow bronco needs a new front axle shaft, ujoints, and a rubber brake line to caliper.....That's my plan. My intentions are to have it finished tomorrow, and that allows Sun. and Mon. for prepping my '48 frame for blasting.
I guess I will continue to work on cleaning my frame now that it's all bare. I ordered my IRS cross member today $205 with shipping from TCI Engineering INC. in Ca for the jag IRS. Two weeks to get it. Going to try to get the IRS out from under the JAG on Saturday. May be a good weekend I hope. RUSTY
Getting my other money pit running again. I think I just discovered the problem and will get it fixed later this weekend. Gotta car show tommorow night taking the F-250 up.

My power steering pump had a small mess making leak at the rear seal, so I picked up a rebuilt one and put it on a month ago, but only have about 1 hour on it. After installing the pulley, it was so tight I could not turn it by hand, it WILL NOT bleed correctly, (noisy) and gets so hot the dipstick is smoking when you pull it out. Guess what I'm doing tommorrow? First time I've touched the truck since buying the big truck.
Well, Saturday starts the college football season and the Webster, Fla auto swap meet is the first Sunday of the month, so I won't get much work done. But, hopefully I'll sell a 72 F100 parts truck and get some goodies I need at the swap meet.
So far Ed's the only one that has a good plan..... Could have inserted a few more cold drinks here and there.
It was 106 today and raining...... Can't pay myself from my business so I could cover my guys wages. Had to sell 3 very collectible guitars to cover the bills.
Hope things loosen up in the next few weeks......
Until then, the cold drinks are not the answer, but they are indeed the strategy......
Hmmm...Saturday is dialysis as usual. I am hoping the heat will stay below 100 the rest of the weekend. I have a lot more cleaning on the paint to do. Clay bar the roof, back of the cab, and the entire bed. Then white polish the same.
The doors and front cap are done already.
I am not likely to get that much done even. I can't take the heat anymore.
Then if I get that far, I will take some lacquer thinner to the primer overspray (previous owner).
Then...(yeah right!!) it will get waxed.
The local club is having another cruise Tuesday night (after dialysis) out to the dam. We will have a picnic, cookout, and club meeting overlooking the lake.
The inside is a mess too, but...I don't like not driving it.
