I have rescently purchased a 2000 F-250 SD with the V10 and 89K miles. I really like the truck and the only concern that I have is the transmission. I also hate the way it shifts. I have been reading about the Banks Transcommand. I'm not interested in a chip to improve performance but improving the longivity of the transmission is a concern.
Would you recommend the transcommand for a transmission that has 89K miles on it? If so, where is a good place to pick one up? Any other advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Kent

You would probably get a better response donw in the V10 forum. At the top of the page click on the word "Forums" then scroll about half way down the page and you will see the V10 forum.
this is your accumulator body in the trans, pull it out and flip it over, the 3 circles, drill out with a 1\16 size drill bit, this is what your trans will shift like after wards http://youtube.com/c00nhunterjoe
view all of the shift kit vids, any questions pm me
