I spoke to my friend with Ford Louisville this past weekend. I did'nt know but he is at the small truck plant- Explorer, Mountaineer and such.
I explained what we were trying to do and he seemed to think Ford would react positively to us and allow a tour. He is unsure if they normally allow tours as not at the big truck plant and he was just transfered to Louisville from Nashville glass plant. He cannot really help with a contact but just advised to call the plant and explain what we are wanting to do.

Have we made any inquiries with the plant to see if they will do a tour for us and if so when next year can they do it?
I am willing to make some calls or send some emails in an effort to move this along.

We should say its a big group of ford fans that want to see the plant. And when we come back we will tell every one how great ford is and they will sell more trucks. . I am a ford to the grave person. I tell all my friends how great ford is and stuff like that all the time,

If they were to sell one new truck as a result of our tour it would be more than worthwhile for them. It is just a win/win. They promote the product and we become more die hard blue oval.
There are a lot of choices out there when it comes to trucks and any manufacturer should do all they can to keep their owners coming back for more.
