Denver is out for me simply because it's too far. I definitely like the beach driving idea. The Excursion plant seems the most appropriate, although since they aren't building these things anymore, what would we see there?

Well, my idea was to get someone that engineered the X to talk about it but considering we can't even get INTO the plant, i don't see that happening.

I've gotta tell you something as a foreigner, the americans aren't very forthcoming guys.
I don't think they know the word flexible

Wow - quite the pond jumper you are.
The only time I've been out of the US was on a cruise; once to the Bahama's and once to Mexico. But I've done a lot of traveling here int eh good 'ol US - growing up , Dad was a contractor for the USAF and we moved a lot. I was born in Falmouth, MA and my kid sister was born in Rapid City, ND. Unfortunately, all of the traveling ended back here in NC when I was in the 1st grade, so I don't remember a lot of it - just some of it.

Traveling is a pain in the ---

Being in new places however is very cool

The ability to fold space would be advantageous

I like the Denver idea, very central, beautiful mountain roads for the 2wd's and trails for the 4X4 guys.
