Unhappy Headliner Removal

I need to Mount my 2way antennas in the roof.
Anyone have access to pictures of the overhead console and headliner during or after removal ?
It looks like everything just pulls straight down for the most part but I hate those hidden plastic parts that break so easy .
Any first hand knowledge or pic's, thank's in advance.

I've never pulled down the headliner, but I have removed the overhead console. In one of the compartments (sunglasses one I think), there is a small black screw. If you take this out, the headliner pulls down (It is kind of snug). If it feels too snug, like you might break somehting, try pulling from another spot or pushing it forward and backward a little bit. Then just unhook the wiring harnesses

You really don't need to pull the headliner out to do that. I have two antennas on the X and I drilled the roof, took a 4 foot zip tie (from Home Depot or Lowes) and shoved it to one of the side by the door. Take the black rubber off around the door, I took the handles off to make it a little easier, and then tape your cable to it and pull.

Worked great for me, your cables might be different but worth a try.

I can pull my console down without removing any screws. Could on my 2000 and still can on my 2005.

You gotta remove the pillar trim to drop the headliner as well as the console, grab handles & rear AC controls.
