I have a 1995 F-150 XL. This base trim level has no headliner. What is invoved in installing one? What parts are needed to keep it in place? I see replacement headliners advertised but they are for repairing an existing headliner.
The more I look at mine the more I think that the previous owner of my truck probably just ripped out a sagging headliner and never replaced it.
The reason I want a headliner is that my radio sounds "boomy" in a cab that has walls of mostly metal and glass. More sound absorbant area is needed to tone down the echos.

I believe you're right.
