Hi there trashman, welcome to FTE. What year is ur truck? have u checked your fuel filter lately? How bout oil level? Check engine lite on? Need some more details. We'll get it figured out. Theres a lot of guys here that are obsessed about diesels here. Im one of them!!
We definately need more info. With what you said it could be several things. Fuel, CPS, IDM, IPR, injector failure, etc. Give us a little more and I bet we can nail it down for you with no problem. And like DN said, welcome.
hey guys changed fuel filter cleaned all the dirt out of the bowl before i put new filter in and put deisel fuel conditioner in fuel tanks seems to be going good its a 1996 superduty only 122,000 miles changed air filter also i was told it may have gotten moisture in the fuel tanks from all the damp muggy weather weve had last week no loss of power just took a fit for some reason if i have anymore problems she acts up again ill let ya know thanks
its the part circled in yellow. and the handle is yellow. dont do it on your driveway. once you open the drain you can bump the starter over a time or two and the fuel will drain out. make sure you shut it when your done.
It is one of the cleanest engine compartments you will find. no leaks, no dirt, no dust. gets washed atleast once a month. No I just gotta get that rear main sealed so the underside can be grunge free.
