Post air intake kits

I have a 2000 f-150 with a 4.2 v6. She runs pretty good so far but I think she could use a little extra. I've decided on an air intake kit but can't decide on which one to get. The "Airaid" is the least exspensive, the "Airforce One" is the best looking with the stainless tube, and the "Volant" is the most exspensive but advertises the most increase in performance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Don't waste your money. Throw away the stock air filter, take the air box out (large half attached to fender) cut off all but the mounting point and about 1 inch , so that you can rebolt it down and re clamp together with other half. Buy a K& N air filter stock replacement and put every thing back together. You won't see huge results but there will be an improvement, you will get all the air the V6 can inhale.

I agree, those air intakes from my useage of them on my mustangs is the stock tubing is better. It dosen't contract heat as a metal intake pipe will, and cooler air equals more power.
