OK, I'm still working to keep one or two on the road. A couple of days ago a power window motor went out on the 64 Tbird, and you might know that local parts stores don't show one.
The 01 Super Duty has a stuck caliper slide pin on the drivers front. I finally got the bracket pulled off tonight and poured the PB Blaster to it and hope it will maybe come loose tomorrow. It is still stuck tonight.
The 78 Bronco still needs a tranny overhaul and I need to clean the junk out of the bed of the '54. I need to get one of them drivable again or I'm stuck with yota.
I put a radiator in today. Yup. New lower hose. Fan shroud. Filled it up and tighten everything down. Drained oil in the tranny. Couldn't get the fill plug out so Clint had to do that and filled it back up.
On the Super Duty I finally got the caliiper pin out by taking it to a machine shop. I still have some problems with the caliper being kinda sticky and should have just bought a re built caliper and bracket from NAPA. I would have been just as cheap by the time I got done.
I need a power window motor for the passenger's side on the 64 Tbird. They are hard to find.
Still tryin to get the BII ready for wheelin, gotta find some driveshafts and a bunch of little things still need to be addressed but it's gettin much closer thanks to Clint and Jack!!
I tried adjusting the intermediate band on the C6 tranny in the Bronco on the outside chance that it might help me find 3rd gear/drive again, but no such luck, so it looks like the rebuild is in the plans. I'm still thinking that I would like to try to rebuild it myself and have a garage party to have anyone that wants to show up to assist or observe be welcome.
I going to try to tear into it in the next couple of weeks. I have a trip to Michigan when my daugter has her baby that will have to be part of the mix and also the g2g at Tuttle in two weeks, so I'll have to plan around that.
