my expedition doesn't have a keypad,
but i used to have a '98 explorer, and there's a sticker on the anti-theft computer that has the code on it.
the explorer's computer was over the left rear tire behind the interior panels, you just have to find where yours is located at.

Change the door code
Don't forget that once you have that original code you can change it to whatever you want. I think you just put in the old code, hit the 1-2 & 3-4 button (the door locks should go up and then down), then enter the new code and I think it the 1-2 & 3-4 buttons again. Someone here should have that exact sequence.
I mention this because I was told that it couldn't be done on my 2004 SuperDuty and then when I bought the 2001 Eddy Expedition they told me how to do it. Helps to talk to the right people!

Worked perfectly. On the 99 Exp, it's above the brake pedal and to the left on the firewall.
