There is a guy on here with a black ex. I think its a lifted 2x4 but I can't remember is callsign. Anyways I think its his truck where he mounted switches just below and to the left of his steering wheel along the dash panel which wraps down around the fuse panel access. Very nice clean convient location with a almost stock appeal to it.
I put mine on the right of the steering wheel down low... and found while it looked and worked great...it was hard to get to without taking my eyes off the road...
If you want to use it regularly, put it within arms reach...

Seems to me right below the light switch on the same surface that is pictured above would make sense. Your hand goes there automatically for light functions anyway.
I did the same, look in my gallery. They are for my fogs, and i mounted the swtich under the left of my steering wheel. The swtich was 5 dollars from autozone. U cant go wrong
