1 or 2 Pyrometers?

I am wondering if having a pyro on each bank of cylinders is worth it or even necessary.

but two would be cool! if you are really ambitious and like to look at guages, you could do one on each manifold, and one post turbo, but again, most likely overkill

Pre turbo and post turbo would probably be more beneficial. Some one makes a dual needle gauge that would work well for that

Hewittindustries.com makes them It has two needles usuall one is green and the other red. Usually used on boats with two engines. Port and starboard. I agree with tim, pre and post turbo but that is still overkill.

Ain't that the truth. Since I added guages I'm constantly distracted by them.

yeah I have 2 more waiting on my tool box to add but the only ones that need constant monitoring is the boost and EGT. thankfully the other move slow enough!

Maybe I should mount the next ones in the middle under the dash or in the ashtray hole. That way I can get help watching from the wife. LOL, she is sleeping anyway what am I thinking?
