Steering Wheel Removal

I Have A 96 F250...there Are No Holes For The Bolts For A Steering Wheel Puller... So I Can Replace The Bearing...cant Find Any Info Anywhere...any Help

you have an air bag so you have to disarm it, battery off for 2-5 minutes.

remove the air bag, screws are on back.

keep it pointed away from your body.

use steering wheel puller.

reverse steps.

there is no air bag on this truck and no holes what so ever for the bolts to pull it off

I pulled mine too. Couldn't find holes. Realized you hoo the puller up to top and bottom of the sides. Says on the top and bottom "PULL" I just rented a puller like this

Must be a 96 thing, my 95 had holes and my 96 doesnt

My 95 also had holes, but I didn't even need a puller. Just banged the steering wheel forward a few times hard with my hands on the back of the wheel and it popped off.
