a VERY simple way to check to make sure that your speedo is indeed off by 15 percent is to find a road with mile markers (or have someone mark a mile) and set your speed at 60 mph(sorry, don't know kph) and time the mile exactly. if you're not covering the mile in 60 seconds then for certain your speedo is off. mine is off by 20 percent making 50mph be 60mph. if you know that you're 15 percent off, then take the speed sensor unit out of transfer case(if a 4x4) and remove the plastic gear and count the number of teeth. then you can get a replacement gear that has 15 percent more teeth(i think it's 2 teeth) and this will get your speedo back at the correct reading. or you could do like i do and just remember how much you're off and drive it like that. LOL
