Injectors

Alright guys, I just want to make sure that I have dotted all my i's and crossed all my t's before I purchase anything. So my plan is to get a set of stage II's from Dpppower. I'm not sure if I'm going to get the DIY as I'm not feeling too confident about doing it myself. I guess my main question that I want to clarify is that can I run these with no tuning or big fuel yet?

Id say you can run them, it wont perform as good as with tuning but it will run and give you some more power but not as much without a good chip.

of course you can. you will notice a power difference too b/c of the larger nozzles. you'll be fine and i would suggest the DIY kit.... it was so easy i kick myself for not doing them before! seriously!

well to save the time i bought the set of pre-machined pistons Jim sells. i'm really glad i did b/c i did one injector at a time and that really seemed to work well for me

in fact i have a parts kit i bought i thought i was gonna have to use but didnt. they are yours if you want it.

do you want my old pistons to have them machined so you dont have any downtime?

From what I've read on the net... It costs about 200$ to get the piston's machined. The $200 you save with the kit you pretty much still pay to get that done.

I have Jims DIY injectors too. I also got his pre-machined pistons. I didnt want the hassle of trying to find someone to do it and not mess it up. Fish is right, you would kick youself for not doing it sooner they are so easy. But thats your decision. Good luck with witch ever road you choose.

i think we all want bigger injectors, but i know one thing. and that is that i'm not going for stage II's until i have a stealth pump under the hood and a beans fuel system b/c if i had stage II's the oil system would take some big time abuse!!!

Stage 2's from BDP or DIY are hard to beat.

Welcome back Steve Ain't seen you in a while.

I plan on the II's and I think if you order the extra pistons from DIY you might as well get the remans from dpppower. It is cheaper and no down time. Please correct me if I am wrong guys.
