I take it "slight" is the operative word...and quite understated

for some odd reason it still works but even if you just engage the hubs.... ummm well you just have to ride in it to see...or hear. quite unique noise i though it was the ft diff at first but after replaceing it today with another i seem to be kicking myself in the butt for that one, it distincly sounds as though its coming from the diff but after several hours of pinpointing today i have narrowed it to the t-case, its really cool if you coast motor off at 10 or 15 mph and engage 4 hi, it sounds as though somebody wants out,

dont have the time to do it plus i would have to tear it down and then order parts assuming the case is ok, cant afford that kind of down time, i am thinking 100-200 bucks from a junkyard and i can replace it in under an hour, time on parts would be at least 3 days from ford assuming the case wasnt damaged, but if you went for a ride i'm not so sure
