Hi all, recently I bought half F150 truck in a local yard, the idea is switch the whole passanger cab with wiring and everythig, but I'm going to have a problem:
1º The new cab has the standard English speedmeter with MPH graphics, but I live in Venezuela and we use Metrics and Km/H grapics, the question: Is it possible reprogram the PCM to show Metrics readings on speed meter and Odo?? no mater the graphics, I can take care of that with help of a local graphics design company.
2º The total Odo reading can be reprogramed also to mach my actual truck reading ???
3º I'll have to reprogram also the constant because I'm using 31/105R15 LT tires, I know there are a lot of articles about this but someone knows whitc is the constant I should program?
Hey SubFord, thanks for the imput BUT that's not posible, because my truck is 1986 and there is no PSOM used on that cluster. Sorry I forgot menction that...
MY truck is 1986 but the new cab to be installed is 1995...
Are you swapping more than the cab? If you don't have the differential or the tranny(don't know which one that year) with the speed sensor, I don't think it's going to work anyway. It's fully electronic with no cable correct?
got to articles/specs above . they have how to change speedo from met to stan . and rest it to be calibrated to tire sized. Good luck Believe its in instrument cluster. I'll try to find if you don't .
As for the odom its a Ford only thing I believe. lost
