Now some folks are going to say that you may are being unfairly represented here, so in all fairness I must relay my LIPD experience so that my disposition towards you is clearly understood.

As many people know I am working with Matt on an engine build. What many do not know is the precursor to this story.

I initially started this build with LIPD. I made initial inquiries, and formulated a design philosophy with Matt and Jeremy.

After the basics of the build were determined we discussed how the build would proceed, a timeline, and the rough budget for the project (in the mid 20k range at that time). No to get the build started and because I did not think it was fair for LIPD to front the entire cost of the engine I authorized LIPD to debit my credit card for $5000US.

Now soon after this Matt and Jeremy had their falling out and I was contacted with the bad news, nothing had been done with my engine and LIPD had no way of completing the project.Now I gave Matt and Jeremy some time to try to work out the financials but when it became obvious that there was no hope of that I contacted Jeremy requesting that my full $5000 be refunded. He told me at that time that he had no money and no way to pay me. He indicated that he may be able to find some money in a week. Up until now I have received only $1000 credit of my initial $5000.

I think this speaks volumes towards Jeremy's money handling capabilities and business ethics. He took my money which should have been solely dedicated to my project and either squandered it or used it to pay off other creditors who were probably down his neck. Not only have I received next to nothing he has completely left me twist in wind with no contact of sort for over 5 weeks now. No calls returned; no effort made to let me know what was going on, Absolutely NOTHING He has committed nothing short of fraud.

So when he all of a sudden shows up out of nowhere claiming he's got great customer service and the best tunes since sliced bread I call BULLS$$T

If this is how he treat's someone he's into for 5K how do you think he's going to treat folks who are into him for a tuner and a few go fast parts?

I'm not alone in this boat; there are others who have had similar experiences with varying degrees of invested capital.

maybe it was my five grand that he was gonna use to pay you back ?

 

With problems like this, I think that maybe FTE should look at not allowing certain vendors to advertise or promote their "fraudulant business practices" like this?

I would like to see FTE, withe their weight and muscle for wanting the best for themselves and their vendors, to get involved.... I just assumed they checked and would stop doing business with "questionable" companies... heck they ban people for just speaking their peace sometimes on the boards!!!!!

Seems like LIPD should repay back monies real fast or just leave... and yes, pissed off people will follow you to other boards and forums... but the best thing you can do for your business is rectify old problems and issues and move forward!!!

I am not trying to be over the top with this; but I think people need to know what kind of a businessman Jeremy is and what they can expect if they enter into dealings with him.
