Okay, how do you know who wrote your current tunes? Unless someone has been hired by LIPD to write tunes, you are getting old tunes written by Matt that where left at LIPD when Matt departed.

how do you know that jeremy did not write these tunes. are you saying he is incapble of writing tunes because matt does not work for him anymore.

I do not see where he ever stated this. Do you have a point to your post or are you just trolling for a fight?

The reason for the comment is matt said unless he hired someone or pirated files or his files that lipd pirated from him.

I have been looking at this site for months and decided to joinand post about a product that I recieved from a vendor here. I am not a troll or here to argue. But when I post about a tune i got and how it works all I get is spatan this and spartan that in return. It can be a little agravating. I'm here for the same reason as eveyone else. To have fun and enjoy our trucks.....

As was stated and is fact, unless Jeremy has hired someone recently to write tunes, then the tunes you recieved from LIPD were old tunes originally written by Matt. Jeremy does not write tunes.

Which Model SCT XcalII do you have?

If you have been lurking around this site for awhile then you know that many people purchased SCT XcalII's from LIPD with Matt's tunes, which would lead you to know the answer to your original question before you posted. FYI you are the first person who has recieved a tuner from LIPD since Matt's departure from LIPD that has posted here. Many members of FTE who purchased products from LIPD after Matt's departure did not recieve them. Matt was the performance engineer, tune writer and mechanic at LIPD, Jeremy just answers the phone and sells products, hence the reason everyone is telling you that Matt at Spartan wrote the tunes.

Glad you like your SCT XcalII,enjoy.

Since the original poster seems to have such an abrasive and defensive mannerism, I'll just go ahead and clear up why that might be

It seems that our friend "blowin smoke", from a competitive web forum, has found himself a new location in order to promote his sponsors and stir the pot

1. Isn't it ironic that this brand new member, joined in August 2007 (has only been a member for a few days). His first 8 out of 9 posts have been right here in this very thread.

(Must log in)
2. Take a look at this user's mannerisms in speech, punctuation, style of typing, and capitalization habits. Compare to matching user here

3. Compare users' home state locations (both from Massachusets)

4. Take a look at "blowin smoke" 's primary sponsor, listed in his signature.

5. Mods and Admins- compare both user IP addresses

Nice try, Jason.

Mal-intentioned trolling and generated advertising lies. Once again, wonderful business tactics from a wonderfully respectable company. Bravo, LIPD.

The tunes are not writen by Matt nor did we use his base files.

I currently have a tuner and we are replacing all of our old tunes if you are running any of our old tunes and would like an update just email me at sales@lidiesel.com and we will get you of the new tunes with the improved shifting.

I see you rethought that.

So who's writing your tunes? I think that's the burning thought on everyone's mind since it's a very critical thing to know.

I actually purchased my tuner through you when Matt was still around. Why has the shifting improved so much. I didn't think that the shifting could get any better than I have right now with Matt's tunes. If you are cranking out some awesome tunes you must have found a awesome new tuner. I am interested as well to know who this is as well as his or her reputation in the diesel tuning world. Please provide more info. Could you also explain more on the improved shifting?

I'm sure the people that I had to take care of, former LIPD customers, would have appreciated this support during the time you took the liberty during your "move" to ignore tens of very, very angry customers of which had no support otherwise. People I continued support on, free of charge, simply to see that their support did not suffer due to your ****-poor customer service.

There are plenty enough people present here who know this to be fact from first-hand experience to where, after your words here, I am no longer hesitant to post in open forum and make the truth be known. Your name is now tarnished with the people that you now try to offer your newly designed "support" after it has already been dealt with at the expense of others. As for your conduct here, which is beyond blatantly obvious...I need not explain it more; I leave that for others to draw their own conclusions upon.

Yes, Eric @ Innovative did help me. I had some lockup scheduling problems with the aftermarket Suncoast and and ATS converters with my original basefiles from some months back. Myself and Eric have always had a good working relationship, and yes, I did ask to see if he knew a good solution. He did, and I implemented the change on the lockup scheduling for the aftermarket converters. Was this supposed to be a secret?
