Has anyone on here run lipd's sct tunes. I just got mine a couple of days ago and must say this truck runs and shifts better than it ever has. so far my mods are turbo back exhaust, volant intake, sct xcal2 and a set of guages.
There's a high probability that the tunes you are running were written by Matt of Spartan Diesel Tech since he used to be part of LIPD. Unless they've procured somebody else to write tunes for them since Matt split from LIPD, you're actually running Matt's tunes.

if you dont mind my asking , what else did you order from LIPD and did it take very long to get everything?
Is there any place on the net that has a list of Matt's tunes and a description of each?
www.spartandieseltech.com is his website, but whether or not he has a complete description of every tune he has I do not know. The beauty of custom tuning is that it's done for YOUR truck to YOUR driving style, and although not as good as him being there to do it or having him do it on a dyno, it's as close as it gets.
I called them last wed. and placed the order for the sct and had it at my door this tuesday. I talked to jeremy and he asked basically what I had done to the truck and what I wanted out of it. I could not be any more happy with the way it is running.

from searching through old posts it seems matt has not been with lipd for over a month so no he did not write the tunes.

Never mind, even these massive servers don't have enough capacity for me to voice my opinion on these LIPD matters
I'll leave it simply at this- unless Jeremy has actually hired (or subcontracted) someone new to write totally NEW SCT basefiles for LIPD, they are either pirated files or pirated base values from the work I did while I was there.

Certainly not. There are plenty of SCT dealers in the country.
However, as far as I know, he has not hired anyone else to write tunes. Convienently all of my tunes were left with LIPD, on Jeremy's personal computer. You do the math.

Many FTE members run SCT XcalII tuners with Matt's tunes purchased from LIPD prior to Matt leaving LIPD.

Okay, how do you know who wrote your current tunes? Unless someone has been hired by LIPD to write tunes, you are getting old tunes written by Matt that where left at LIPD when Matt departed.

I do not see where he ever stated this. Do you have a point to your post or are you just trolling for a fight?
I have to agree with Blackhat; Matt did a lot of work developing tunes and Jeremy has basically got all those files for nothing.
Matt is certainly not the only person who can write SCT tunes; there are many vendors out there who are well respected and have established reputations for themselves; LIPDs tuning reputation was built by Matt.
Maybe Jeremy has hired someone to write tunes for him; but given his questionable business ethics he's likely just making use of Matt's labors post departure.
Matt is extremely well respected and has made every effort to enhance his reputation since he parted ways with Jeremy. That's a damn sight more than I can say about Jeremy.
