Here's the situation guys... When I rev the engine up out of gear it will only hit 2500 before it starts the bog down and blow blue/white smoke. Actually, I can't even get it passed 2500. However, when I'm traveling down the road it doesn't do this. Sometimes under hard excelleration it will bog.
Does this sound like a clogged fuel filter? The last time I changed it was in May about 5000 miles ago. Probably not even that many miles. I also cleaned the FPR screen aswell. Any suggestions?
I would change out the flter again and give it a healthy dose of diesel kleen or similar. My first thought was it could be injector o-rings though because of the smoke color

Check the fuel pressure at the schraeder on the FPR....
put 1 quart of 2 stroke oil in about half a tank of fuel (about 7-10 gallons) drive it for several miles and check again, this cleared up a similar issue in my truck. I currently run 1/2 to 1 quart of 2 stroke oil per tank every fill up.
yeah its doubtful its a fuel supply issue cause it requires to run down the road then it does in park to rev the engine. Could very well be o-rings like Joe said.
they react differently when the load is applied, just the way the pcm works the oil supply, wont hurt anything unless you are leaking fuel into the oil, easy check, pull the dipstick...if its not overfull its ok to run it. i ran mine like that for almost30k before i finaly got time to do the o-rings. it will get a little worse as time goes on to the point that is hesitates at the same rpm revving up and driving but if you dont have the time dont sweat it, no harm will come as long as the fuel stays out of the oil, keep an eye on the fuel filter as it will get oily too, no harm either just change it out a little more often. dont forget we have idiot lights for that one....lol. the o-rings will cost you about 80 bucks for all 8 from ford and a day of your time to install
