Wow. Did the trailer tires rub the fenders? Lol. At least it was towed by another Ford. Bet you guys have that running by the end of the day eh? Nice rescue Cookie.

We didn't get it running yet. Dealer won't have the part until tomorrow, but it won't take long after that.
The tires cleared the fenders.....but man was it it close. The tires were at max pressure and squashed about half flat. I'm glad he was only about 15 miles from the house.
Oh...and the truck didn't actually tweak the trailer frame somebody tried to load a 13,000 lb back hoe on it recently. Didn't work out too well from what I understand. One thing is certain...that trailer earns it keep.
I got my rockerarm today but it came too late to try to put it in.I have to leave for work in 45 mins and its 100* plus here so it will have to wait till mornin. The arm came on the pedistal it was 21.80 with tax I hope that's my only problem . I think I am going to put some threads on the end of that gearshift and put a solid handle like the old Hurst T shifters I never broke one of those. I did put my hand in the ashtray of an ole 70 Duster 340 when the gearshifter shaft snapped from 2nd to 3rd owwwwwwwwww but the handle never came off and I didn't miss the shift.
Oh about that trailer thankfully that was my dad that tried to put that big old backhoe on, he did a lot of work on it before I saw it he bent pretty bad . It's just about time to rebuild it so it shouldn't take to much to fix it then.
For what it's worth I drilled my shifter out, tapped it, and put a brass cap screw to hold it on. It goes nowhere now. I'm still planning on making some billet ones at some point...
Good to see you got it fixed. Those stamped steel rockers aren't much to write home about, but they fit in the tiny area. Might as well torque down everything else on the head you can get to while the VC is off.
I'm very happy that I only had to spend $50 to get a 6.0 CAC. Maybe the aluminum tanks on my stock cooler dissapated heat better or something....I don't know...but the difference between the 6.0 cooler and the stock cooler is so small that I honestly don't know if it was worth the effort to install it.
The trailer only had one functioning brake...so I could really feel that truck when stopping, but dragging it down the road was effortless. Big Blue wasn't even breaking a sweat.
I guess I'm going to have to do a compression check she is still missing, now she's blowin blueish white smoke smells like oil.///////////////////////////////////////
