Unhappy

Thanks again for all your helpfull knowledge! When I look at the pictures on 6.0 bible that show an `04 and `05 top of engine. Mine looks like the `05 with the same intake manifold elbow. Sorry to not be more clear on in shop days; its been in shop for 72 days now, but not all at the same time. Most of which has been over the last couple of months. I have tried several dealerships in Az. From what I`ve heard "Sanderson Ford" is best in state, but has over a 30 day waiting list for diesel work. Unfortunately this is our only vehicle and we cannot wait that long. And this dealership has told me that techs are 6.0 certified, but as many times as its been in shop it makes me wonder if your right Kepler4. I am now trying with lemon law and in contact with Ford. I also had my 5 full page oasis pulled from post above.

sandaholics, I'm sorry to hear your problems. I was recently in Mesa and needed some work done and all the guys said to go to Sanderson, but at that time they had a 6 week wait....the price you've got to pay to get the best service. I ended up taking mine to Berge Ford for what they said would be a simple fix. Needless to say, my truck leaks more oil now than it did when I took it in there. You do need to at least get on the waiting list at Sanderson and take it elsewhere in the meantime. Also, while you're waiting, you are wise to pursue the lemon law. Hopefully things will work out for you. Good luck.

Does the lemon law apply if you are the second owner of a truck, I know it's off topic but I was just wondering if anybody knew from firsthand experience

Don't believe so and I think that there are other time and mileage stips that apply as well. The laws vary some from state to state though.

I`ll let you guys know what ends up happening. I am saddened that I have to do this. Because before I started having all these problems, this 6.0 Excursion was by far the best vehicle I`ve ever owned. I really wish they could have figured issues out. And depending on outcome am still steering toward another 6.0 Ex.

I still say to get your name on the waiting list at Sanderson Ford while you start all the paper work for the Lemon Law. You'll get your X to them before anything has happened with the suit anyways and maybe they'll still be able to solve your problem. If I were in your shoes, I'd consider another X after everything is settled. If I could find someone to trade with, I'd pick up an X in a heartbeat. They'll the best vehicle produced in my mind for a recreational enthusiast.
