boost pressure
My guage for boost pressure starts at 2 PSI.
I noticed today that at about 8PSI it starts fluctuating...
The highest boost i have seen is about 15-17 psi at 3K RPM...
The turbo has the orange hose connectors too.

Check your orange hose for wear and/or holes. It will surprise you. Leaky uppipes wil cause reduced boost. If it is fluctuating you may have a leak in the gauge, line not sure , please someone double check me.

Here are some pictures of my engine components:
Y-pipe boots - They look to be in good shape - Boost pressure guage fluctuates...see picture below...
Pyrometer and downpipe - 3" OD down pipe - NO CAT in exhaust - its a 1988 boty
Boost Guage connection - I think it needs some clamps - Also need to mount that sensor instead of laying it on the air box...
10K Mod - I will make this somewhat different in the future
