I am new to this forum and this engine family so please excuse any what may seem ridiculous questions.
Is it possible to fit DOHC cam heads to a 5.4 engine?
If so, do you have to change pistons and how would this effect comp. ratio??
What other changes need to take place in order for this conversion to be carried out?
Lincoln Navigators already have a DOHC 5.4 Im not sure wether the heads can be put on a SOHC block though. Something you may want to do is search junk yards for Navigators and yank a motor out of one of them. Probably be pretty spendy to do though. Just food for thought.
