I want to install a tachometer on my 2001 E350 Van. There is no option to buy a factory tach. Where would I attach the aftermarket tach to receive the RPM signal. The van has a coil at each spark plug and has a "distributorless" ignition. Help!!
Look at the wire harness somewhere by the brake booster there may be a wire there with a tag on it "CTO" and it is white with a pink stripe
Tie into that and you should be good.I just did all this on my 98
Ford E-350 Van, hopefully everything is the same on yours.
Great info! I have a '98 4.6 E-150. I'd like to add a tach. Will you post some more info? What type/brand tach did you add? Where did you mount it? Any tips on installing it? Thanks in advance for your help.
