electrical gremlins? need help

electrical gremlins? need help
03 ex. V-10, 4wd. Limited. Radio head unit, power window controls, and homelink system die at same time. If I turn off and leave it alone for about an hour, everything works again with the turn of the key. Any ideas?
P.S.
Even though head unit dies and has no lights on, it will light up and show correct time if the cd eject button is pressed. After ejected the unit goes blank again.

gremlins in mine too
The gremlins have invaded mine to a smaller extent. I have an 03 with the electronic climate control and if i turn the key to on for the glow plugs to warm up and if my AC was left on and i shut it off before starting my car the whole screen goes blank and I have no AC. If I shut it off for 10 minutes or so it is fine. Very strange. So now I just dont touch the AC till the car is started. Anybody else have similar experience.

ajohansson .... here is a trick on your problem. When you start your truck and the Climate control is off. Try turning the headlights on then off. It should make it come on. I know it sounds stupid but it works. One of the other members found that this works and my wife confirmed it on two occasions now. Ours does it so infrequently that I haven't wanted to spend the time to hunt down the root cause.
