Looking to add a light bar to my trusty 89 F250 460/7.5, C6 Auto.
Any brand/type recommendations? Any horror stories?
I use the truck to plow the property in the winter, and the plow lights they offer are cheesy. Also would like lights to use on those fall and winter nights when I just need a few more minutes of light out in the field. Well okay, they look cool too.
I'd like to add the bar to the roof or rear of cab
i was looking for one for a whil but abandoned the idea for now just don't think round shape on boxy body would look good, but the only ones i found that mount behind cab in bed were aat JC Whitneys website, other than that ebay had a bar that mounts to cab roof that looked good, better actully in my opinion
Theres this place in my town called AwDirect, they have everything you need or want or looking for in lights and safty, not sure on links here so the site link contains awdirect you know the rest have a look.
I would build my own! If'n you plow snow than you got salt?
I would go with heavy wall tubing bent to suit me and paint it to last! I ain't seen much "decorative" aftermarket tubing bumpers, brush guards, lite bars or roll bars worth a dull red cent! Ranch Hand is a nice looking bumper but don't know if they offer light bars or not... Deer proof or Buck proof is another dern stout bumper but don't know what all they offer! I know you can plow down a 300 pound deer with a buck Proof and not move it!

I could build you one. I am guessing you'd like one for the roof? Why not a headache rack? You could put a cherry, forward lights, backup lights, side lights, brake lights...you name it. Shoot me a PM, I would be interested in building one TO WHAT YOU WANT!
