looking for strobe lights

I have a 99 psd and would like to put flashing strobe lights in the turn signals as I do quite a bit of plowing in the winter. Where is a good place to look for them, I need to get the whole kit. Are they easy to install?

I installed a kit in our 2007 F-350 dually. I got them from www.strobesnmore.com , they work great and have up to 6 ports, and there are 15 different flash patterns. I have 10 or so short video clips of different flash patterns at night.

I know of a company called WHELEN that makes all the commercial strobes for busses, police, and airplanes. some of the strobes have remote power supplies and a wee flasher module that you could fit anywhere a little imagination will go. The have a web site with fairly savvy techs. They may even have light bucket kits.

strobes

I have 4 clear hideaway strobes in my '03 f-250. 2 are in the headlights, 2 are in the turn signals. I got mine from ebay a while back. There are usually the whole kits for sale. at minimum, you will need a strobe pack (power supply/flasher), the cables, and the strobe heads. I love the WHELEN products. I have had no problems w/ mine for 3 years. This is the second vehicle I've installed them in.

I recommend getting a bigger pack than you think you will need, as each strobe head is usually rated for 25 watts. So, if you are installing 2 strobe heads, I would try to get at least a pack w/ 50 or more watts. Something w/ 4 outlets and 60 watts would probably be best. I run my 4 strobe heads on a 6 outlet 90 watt pack. I hope this helps.

If no luck on ebay, strobesnmore is cool, galls, or one of many other places. Just do a search online. Be careful and make sure you shop around. Prices can vary significantly for the same product.
