8pm right now AND IT'S ONLY DOWN TO 95-DEGREES!!!
THAT'S HOT!!!
Got to 99 today....Expected to get to 100 tomorrow....and the high 90s the rest of the week.......It's gotten to the high 90s since Sunday.......
Add to that the ongoing drought......
And yes...you Southwestern boys....I realize that you'uns break 100 regularly....but THIS is wet heat......Not that candy-a$$ dry heat!...(haha)...

Shoot. That's springtime in these parts.
I do worry about you guys that have to were a vest to work, though. That's gotta be dang uncomfortable in the summer. At my age, I don't know what I'd do without A/C.

8:36PM and it's still 89F here...we hit 99F today, too, with humidity. You guys along the Ohio River need to shut the door and keep the heat outta the Midwest!!

I was off today and yesterday......During the day, it was too hot to do much outside aside from stuff that gets you wet.....Today it was washing the truck.....Every few minutes, just sprayed straight up and let it "rain" on me for a bit......Same thing with watering the garden......Good thing I got the grass cut last week, and it's been so dry, doesn't need it this week.......
But we NEED the rain.....I'll accept having to mow the grass regularly.......
Bought a new Weber charcoal grill (I LOVE that thing!)......Grilled yesterday and today, but broke out the one-piece pull-out shade shelter......Even then, it was hot as hell.......I was drinking ice-cold beer in the huggie like it was water.....Ever notice that when you guzzle beer like that...your outside moving around, and sweating a lot....you DO NOT get drunk?....or even buzzed?......

it is hot, but i love it, will take it over cold any day.
luckily the factory i work has some big garage like doors on it and plenty of exhaust fans that turns the place into a big breeze way. plus the little offices have ice cold air which feels nice to jump into.

It was baking over here.
I think it got up to......................60º......
And there was hardly any fog either; that's why the soaring temperature.
I better put on the sunblock SPF#1.5.
