I generally agree with that. 75 feels pretty good to me though.
But i agree that after a certain point, your state of mind changes to adapt to the heat and you dont really notice it too much after that.
I work in an extremely hot environment and am used to it. Ive lived here in FL all my life so im used to the heat and would take it over the cold anyday.
HOT/COLD Where is the perfect median temp/weather in the continental USA? I remember years ago someone saying where it was, but alas too many brain cells destroyed by liquid refreshments.
Yup....Got to 101 today....Heat index over 110.....As of 9pm, it was still 93......Tommorow is supposed to be AS hot as today, and maybe a degree or two warmer........Only getting to 97 on Friday (haha)......Low 90s this weekend with a CHANCE of rain......Jesus, Texas, give us some rain, pretty please?.......

Somewhere in California....Mid to north Cali, I believe.....Where median temps in winter and summer aren't overly far apart.....
if its below 75, i hate it, anywhere between 85 and 95 is perfect for me.
had a guy at work (contractor) yesterday get heat exhaustion, he was digging a hole for some flag poles, started throwing up and everything, now on medical rest at home for 4 days.
people got to watch out there! at work they slowed the production down and had more breaks for everyone because inside the factory is super hot.
Well starting tomorrow the heat index here will be over 106 for the next 2 days. As far as the swamp nuts, that is a new one on me, would hot and sticky and moist(i better stop here with the description) be what you are talking about?
Yup, thats what we consider swap nuts, or swamp *****, around here. For the most part it not the dry heat that kills me but rather the humidity. It been so damn humid the last month or so, we've got the ac set on 71 and theres water rollin on the inside of the windows. The early morning temps are in the high 70s - low 80's, the last couple mornings its been foggy. The good thing is its killing the grass, so atleast I dont have to cut it.
As was said before I prefer 75, well maybe more like 65-70, its nice when i can work out side without breaking a sweat
