Does anyone know the wheel bases on the '87-'96 truck? Specifically I'm looking for the 250/350 std cab/longbed, crew cab (4 door) short bed. I would like to get all the different lengths if they are handy. Thanks for your help, Bill
Chris, that info should be on your door jamb sticker.
No, it shows the wheel base for a single cab short bed, because that is how my truck rolled off of the Ford assembly line. Then it was shipped to Centurion to be stretched into a crew cab Now you can understand my dilemma when trying to find driveline parts for my truck, it doesn't exist in anyone's catalogs!!! For example, when I replaced my center support bearing for my driveshaft, I bought the one for an F150 with a 2 piece driveshaft (yes, like my truck). Got it home, would not fit over the slip yoke... Hmmmmm.... Took it back to NAPA and brought the driveshaft, he tried an F250 support bearing and it fit like a glove... So I guess I have an F250 driveshaft?! NOBODY KNOWS!!! I called Centurion but they have since been bought out by Southern Comfort and their techs there know NOTHING about the older Centurion custom jobs, the tech was a dumba$$. Nice move on their part eliminating any employees of Centurion who knew anything about these older jobs....
Very frustrating having a truck that does not exist in the books.... But thats also why I love it so much :-)

I want to make mine a crew cab, and not stretch the frame, just cut the bed to about 3.5'. It's a 2wd, and I found a 4" Fabtech suspension lift which I'm also going to install, I think it'll be pretty cool looking

Thanks Tom I'll let you know if I ever need somethin'. I was just lookin' to get some specs the wheel base of my truck, since there aren't very many Crew Cab short beds out there.

I could see where it'd look kinda cool. I'm a big fan of a crew cab long bed, but I see where it'd be very rock-crawler/jeep-ish. I think it'd look cool. Not my taste, but i think i can see it. It'd look like one of those Hummer H2 "trucks" with a 2' bed but not so girly.
I thought you need Crew Cab short bed...? I was hoping to hear the answer for that because thats what my truck is...
Your truck should be around 160" or so, the supercab long bed is 155 so your crewcab short bed should be 160 at least that is what the F350 crewcab short bed was. but of course yours could be a little different because it is a centurion and that number may be + or - a few inches.

I had a 90 F350 crew cab long bed, I loved that truck... Mine was a 2wd I had put 33's on it and they fit well, only rubbed on the front at full lock and not at all in the rear. Unfortunately the trans was weak when I got it, the previous owner cut corners on the rebuild, by the time I had it checked the trans was beyond ANY repair and I needed a whole new case. I just didn't have the $2200 to fix it at the time
